INSTRUCTIONS

VERY IMPORTANT TO KEEP IN MIND*

  • Depending on the final size, the designs of our decorative vinyls can be delivered divided into several parts, in order to facilitate their installation.
  • For walls with gotelé we recommend requesting a sample since each wall is different and the gotelé usually loses paint dust.
  • Make sure that your paint is suitable for placing vinyl and is free of internal humidity.
  • Decohappy is not responsible for vinyl placed on walls in poor condition.
  • Place your vinyl in your house and do not leave it for a long time inside the rolled tube for a maximum of 10 days so that it does not spoil and enjoy it !! The vinyls are made to be stuck on your wall, not to be left inside the tube. If you spend a long time without sticking them, they can collect moisture and the glue can break down inside the tube.
  • *If you have recently painted your wall, you must allow 4 weeks to place your decorative vinyl and make sure that your wall is dry*
  • *For walls recently painted with strong or loud colors we recommend allowing at least 6 weeks to place the vinyl on the wall*

HOW TO INSTALL PVC-FREE WALL DECALS:

Children's fabric vinyls consist of 2 parts, the base sheet that is where the vinyl is glued and the cut and/or die-cut vinyl glued on top. They are very easy to place since they do not have a protractor and they are removable, which means that if you stick a figure on your wall and you want to move it, you can take it off and stick it again when installing them, taking into account that it is a decorative object not a toy.

1 - First and foremost we have to prepare the surface where we are going to place the cloth vinyl : it must be clean and dry, without traces of dust or grease. Remember that the surface of the wall must be completely smooth.

*If we have just painted the wall, we recommend placing the vinyl after 4 weeks so that the wall absorbs the paint well and is dry*

2 - We will remove the vinyl from its packaging and preferably place it on a table or flat surface to be able to see the entire vinyl and all its figures.

3 - We will be placing figure by figure taking off one by one from the base sheet to stick it on our wall. The cloth vinyl is very easy to place because it does not have a carrier, only the base sheet and the vinyl that is die-cut, so you can take off each figure and stick it on your wall directly, we recommend that you start by gluing the largest one first and go placing it one by one each figure until you already have your composition formed. If you make a mistake and you want to change a figure of the place, you can do it, you just have to peel off and paste it again without damaging your wall or the vinyl since it is removable, you will not have traces of glue on the wall when placing them as long as Have the paint in good condition.

4 - Finally, once you have your vinyl well placed to your liking on your wall, we will pass a dry cloth over the figures to make sure that it sticks well.

5 - The vinyl is installed, now all you have to do is enjoy it.

How to install PVC vinyl:

Pvc children's vinyls consist of 3 parts, the base sheet that is where the vinyl is glued, the cut or die-cut vinyl glued on the base sheet and the transparent carrier on top of the vinyl to be able to install it on the wall.

1 - First and foremost we have to prepare the surface where we are going to place the decorative vinyl : it must be clean and dry, without traces of dust or grease. Remember that the surface of the wall must be completely smooth.

*If we have just painted the wall, we recommend placing the vinyl after 4 weeks so that the wall absorbs the paint well and is dry*

2 - We will remove the vinyl from its packaging, if the vinyl is composed of several figures we will cut them, only by the area, not by the edge of the figures since the vinyl is die-cut, it is only to separate them and make their placement easier for us .

3 - We will preferably place the vinyl on a table or flat surface and rub the design with a dry cloth so that it has greater adherence and remains completely flat.

4 - If the vinyl is very large, we recommend you use masking tape to make it easier to install by placing it on top of the vinyl. Extend the design on the wall, holding it lengthwise at the top with low-adherence masking tape.

5 - Thus, we can check through the transparent transfer the correct placement position and imagine the final finish. In the event that the vinyl is made up of several motifs, we recommend placing the largest or main motif first and then positioning the rest on your wall.

6 - We will remove the base sheet from the upper part, letting the transfer adhere to the wall accompanying it with a (dry) cloth and letting it roll up on its own. Once the support paper has been removed, it should be reviewed by pressing on the vinyl with a spatula or with a cloth to facilitate its adherence.

7 - We will remove the masking tape and remove the transfer from the wall slowly parallel to the wall, taking special care that the edges of the vinyl remain well adhered. If at the time of removing it the amount of transfer is too large, it can be cut to facilitate the work of placement, this usually happens especially in large figures.

8 - Finally we will pass our dry cloth over the vinyl to make sure that it is well adhered to our wall.

9 - The vinyl is installed, now all you have to do is enjoy it!!

MUST TAKE INTO ACCOUNT

Depending on the final size, the designs of our decorative vinyls can be delivered divided into several parts, in order to facilitate their installation.

If any air bubbles form during placement, remove them by pricking them with a pin and rubbing with a cloth from the contour towards the perforated area to remove all the air.

For the placement of a vinyl on metallic or glass surfaces, it is recommended to first spray the area with water to avoid bubbles and facilitate the removal of the transfer.

This method should never be used on a wall.

- The vinyls cannot be returned since they are created one by one especially for the client with their requested combination and having so many different models and sizes it is impossible for us to have stock. If you have any claim you can make it up to 15 days after your purchase.

- Place your vinyl in your house and do not leave it for a long time inside the rolled tube so that it does not spoil and enjoy it !! The vinyls are made to be stuck on your wall, not to leave them inside the tube for more than a month, if you spend a long time without sticking them, they can collect moisture and the glue can break down inside the tube.

*If you have recently painted your wall, you must allow 4 weeks to place your decorative vinyl and make sure that your wall is dry*

*For walls recently painted with strong or loud colors we recommend allowing at least 6 weeks to place the vinyl on the wall*

*Do not leave your vinyl rolled up in the tube for more than a week, take it out and lay it flat so it does not get damaged*
